The Department of Human Development was previously known as the Department of Human Development. The dedicated Principal Dr. Kusum Mehta was the encouraging person behind the establishment of the Home Science faculty.
Miss Kusum Arondekar was the first head of this department. In 1970, the first batch of post graduate students were flagged out.
