Birth of N.S.S – Start of NSS in our college in year 1974

1. AIMS OF N.S.S. :

   • To develop a national consciousness among the youth .
   • To generate social awareness among the students.
   • To promote the dignity of labour among the educated.
   • To strengthen the spirit of service and sacrifice in the younger generation .

2. Goal of N.S.S Education through community service and community services through education.

3. Over all object of NSS Development of students personality through community service.

4. CREDIT ELIGIBILITY :

   • 120 hours of service in two academic years or Special camping programme for seven days .
   • Participation in National level or State level camps.

5. Programme of NSS:-Two fold programme

   • Regular activities.
   • Social Camping (7 days).

   REGULAR PROJECTS:

   • Traffic regulation .
   • Plantation.
   • Helping social welfare institution.
   • Rural on upliftment.
   • Non-formal education .
   • Project on environment .
   • Blood donation.
   • Haemoglobin Test.
   • AIDS awareness programm.
   • Beti bachao beti padhao abhiyan
   • B Certificate Exam
   • C Certificate Exam

   SPECIAL PROGRAMME :

   • Workshop on Cashless transection.
   • voter awareness programm .
   • Swachhta abhiyan
   • Make Learning Licance for students
   • To give knowlegde about Health, hygiene, sanitation, of rural area (Preferably by adapting village within the easy reach of college).
   • Eye and health checkup
   • Dental Checkup.

   SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT

   1. Ku. Pooja singhai and shreeya Tripathi received state level NSS volunteer award session 2015-16
   2. Dr. SHAMPA JAIN NSS programm officer received state level NSS award for session 2016-17
   3. Ku. Shreeya Tripathi Participated Repaublic day Parade 2016.
   4. Ku. Varsha Uikey Participated Republic day Parade 2019.
   5. Ku. Aparna Guha & Team received second prize of University level for swachh bharat summer internship
